Robert Louis Stevenson is perhaps best-known today for 'Treasure Island' and 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde'. Jan Fields has penned more than 20 children's books, including the Adventures in Extreme Reading series. She lives in Ledyard, Connecticut. Howard McWilliam is the illustrator of I NEED MY MONSTER, by Amanda Noll, and WHEN A DRAGON MOVES IN, by Jodi Moore. Howard left his career as a U. K. magazine editor and journalist in 2005 to concentrate on his growing career as a cartoonist and illustrator. He has won various awards and competitions for his work and has been published in a wide range of U. K. magazines and newspapers, including THE DAILY TELEGRAPH and THE WEEK. He lives in Kingston Upon Thames, England, with his wife, Rebecca.

Treasure Island
When young Jim Hawkins finds an old map showing the location of a hoard of buried treasure, he joins the crew of the Hispaniola who set sail to find it. But they soon have a mutiny on their hands, led by the duplicitous pirate Long John Silver. As the quest turns murderous, Jims bravery is put to the test, and he discovers much about friendship, loyalty and betrayal on this daring voyage.
