Awardwinning illustrator Penny Dale captures this fascination in playful pictures that bring to life Robert Louis Stevenson's timeless poem about a child and his shadow.

Robert Louis Stevenson is perhaps best-known today for 'Treasure Island' and 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde'.
