Michaela Morgan is a well-regarded author whose recent Walter Tull's Scrapbook earned her glowing reviews and a boost in profile, as well as a shortlisting for the Blue Peter Book Award for Best Book with Facts. Jacqueline Wilson grew up and still lives in Kingston-on-Thames. She always wanted to be a writer and wrote her first 'novel' when she was nine. In 2002 Jacqueline was given an OBE for services to literacy in schools and she is the current Children's Laureate.
