Nick Warburton was a primary school teacher for ten years before deciding to become a full-time writer. He has written plays for stage, television and radio as well as books for children, including The Battle of Baked Bean Alley; Normal Nesbitt. The Abnormally Average Boy; To Trust a Soldier; Ackford's Monster; Dennis Dipp on Gilbert's Pond; Gladiators Never Blink; You've Been Noodled! and Flora's Fantastic Revenge. Chris Molan, experienced illustrator who has recently worked for both Lion, Dorling Kindersley and Walker. Her projects range from gift editions of Peter Pan to many of the illustrations in Bible World. Anna Perera was born in London, and now lives in Hampshire. She has published four children's books. When her husband, David Knopfler, played a charity gig for Reprieve, Anna found out about the captive children who inspired Guantanamo Boy. Jon Blake lives in Cardiff and is a successful Sparks author, he wrote the excellent title Sid's War in the series. PAUL STEWART is a well-established author of books for young readers everything from picture books to football stories, fantasy and horror. Chris Powling is the author of more than 30 books for children, ranging from beginner readers to teenagers. A teacher and broadcaster, Chris was editor of the children's book magazine Books For Keeps for seven years.
