Great for age 3-6 years
Little Cub is eager to grow up like Big Golden Lion but has a few lessons to learn before he can take the next tentative steps to adulthood. Under the distant and watchful eye of his guardian he ventures into the big and busy jungle to watch the antics of some of his friends and soon discovers that he can copy some of the things that Tiny Mouse, Big Baby Hippo, Gentle Giraffe and Giggly Gorilla can do. But there are also some things that Little Copy Cub--no matter how hard he tries--has to leave to the experts. Little Copy Cub is a charming tale of a bright and breezy little animal learning about himself and others. Through watching others at play he begins to understand the importance not just of the similarities between him and his friends but of the differences too. An excellent book to read aloud, Little Copy Cub encourages children to try out for themselves some of Little Cub's games and allows for debate about the different characteristics of each animal while subtly pointing out the joys of the very differences that makes them what they are. Little Copy Cub is a fun-filled and action-packed interactive picture book that children aged 2 and over will return to time and time again and is sure to become a firm favourite with any child who takes pleasure in being truly involved with a story. (Age 2 and over) -- Susan Harrison
