Samson and the Philistines

Samson was a man with herculean strength who used his power to fight the Philistines who were occupying the land of Israel. He led his people for 20 years but was then betrayed by his wife, Delilah, and captured by the Philistines. Samson was tied to pillars by his captors. Blinded and humiliated he knocked down the pillars, killing himself and all the Philistines inside the building that housed them.
