After a car accident damages his hands Strange is forced into performing backstreet operations for cash until he meets the Ancient One, a mysterious sorceror and supernatural guardian of the earth. As student to the master Strange learns both mystical as well as martial arts, and rises to the role of primary protector of the Earth from magical threats.
