We Read Award

The We Read Award is an annual children's book award that celebrates outstanding literature for young readers. Established to encourage a love of reading and promote high-quality children's books, the award engages young readers in the selection and voting processes, allowing them to actively participate in recognizing their favourite titles. The award is aimed primarily at children, typically in the age range of 4 to 12 years. A panel of judges reviews submitted books to create a shortlist of nominated titles. After the shortlist is announced, children from participating schools and libraries are invited to read the nominated books and vote for their favourites.
