Tower Hamlets Book Award

The Tower Hamlets Book Award is a prestigious annual award designed to promote reading and literature among young readers in the Tower Hamlets borough of London, UK. Established in 2014, the award aims to encourage children and young people to engage with books and develop a love for reading by allowing them to participate in the selection of the winning titles. A committee of educators and librarians selects a shortlist of nominated books across various genres and age groups and then students from local schools read the shortlisted books and then vote for their favourite.
