The Selfish Giant

Oscar Wildes classic tale is of a Selfish Giant who builds a high wall round his lovely garden to keep the children out. My own garden is my own garden, said the Giant; anyone can understand that, and I will allow nobody to play in it but myself. Winter comes and stays in the garden and the Giant wonders why. But then a child creeps in to play, and the Giant realises his mistake.
