"The Woman in White" by Wilkie Collins is a thrilling mystery novel that unfolds through the perspectives of various characters. The story begins when Walter Hartright encounters a mysterious woman dressed in white late at night on a lonely road. This chance meeting leads him to a web of intrigue involving two half-sisters, Laura Fairlie and Marian Halcombe, as they navigate deception, madness, and the threat of a sinister man named Count Fosco. As Walter seeks to protect Laura from her dark fate, the narrative explores themes of identity, love, and the struggle against societal constraints in Victorian England.
