"Poor Miss Finch" by Wilkie Collins follows the story of the blind heiress, Miss Finch, and her complicated relationships with two suitors: the noble but secretive Lucius Hargrave and the cunning, unscrupulous Mr. Highgate. The novel explores themes of deception, ambition, and the quest for love amid adversity. As Miss Finch navigates her world with her acute other senses, the true natures of those around her are gradually revealed. The narrative delves into societal expectations and the struggles faced by women, capturing the intricate dynamics of trust and betrayal in a Victorian setting.
