Intrigued? You should be! This edifying and unusual story tells of a little Belgian boy who lived in a beautiful walled town with adoring parents who loved him dearly. They were all very happy, until one day enemies came to destroy the beautiful town and a terrible, terrible war began, which went on for a long time, until he found an unusual way of putting an end to it...! Mannekin Pis (which means "peeing boy") is such an established Belgian legend that there is even a bronze statue of the little boy in Brussels to this day. Vladimir Radunsky's humorous retelling highlights the futility of war and demonstrates how people should not take themselves too seriously!
