He is Denmark's most famous author and his birthday is celebrated every year with a part called "Odin Story Day". L. W. Kingsland was born and educated in London. In addition to translating from the Danish, he has translated books from Norwegian and Swedish. Edith Nesbit was an English author and poet who published over 60 books of fiction for children under her pen name E. Nesbit.
