"Little Nippers" is a collection of first information books for young learners. The "Mixing Colours With .." strand explores the colours created by mixing pure paints and pigments. The series introduced children to the three primary colours and white, looking at objects that have these colours, then discovering the results of the mixing activities. The names for the different shades and tints achieved are used to help extend vocabulary.
