“A Chair for My Mother” is a heartfelt story about a young girl named Rosa who, along with her mother, saves money to buy a special chair after losing everything in a fire. Living with her grandmother, they work hard and make sacrifices, each contributing their spare change to a jar that symbolizes hope and determination. The chair becomes a symbol of comfort and family strength, representing their love and resilience as they rebuild their lives. Through beautiful illustrations and a touching narrative, the story highlights themes of community, perseverance, and the importance of home.
