Last night Mum read Lotte a story about a lion. When Lotte woke up this morning she was a lion. "RAH!" Lotte said. Lotte is a lion in the morning, a bear in the afternoon, and a crocodile by teatime. "Rah!" she shouts, as she plays hide-and-seek with Mum, helps her water the plants and build a tower of blocks. But when it comes to bedtime, what will Lotte be? This beautifully observed story portrays with affection and humour the special relationship between parent and child.
