The thing that Jonathan Stein liked best was being a pest. Or so it seemed to his harrassed parents, who mopped up his spilt milk and cringed when he asked visitors: WHAT DID YOU BRING ME? Desperate to know what made Jonathan so contrary they took him to see Doctor Carrother. The doctor's unexpected diagnosis will delight the young Jonathans who read this book as much as it will relieve their parents. Tomi Urgerer's sprightly drawings do full justice to the 'pestiferous' Jonathan and the gaily rhyming text.
