Poor little mouse! He has a question he's longing to ask--but with all the roaring, squawking, snapping, munching, and splashing going on how can anyone hear his tiny squeak? Not lion so loud, pretty parrot up a tree, the big-jawed crocodile, hungry panda at breakfast, or turtle in the sea! But then, mousie finally meets some creatures just right to be his friends. Children will really enjoy learning and imitating the fun sounds the animals make--and looking at the breathtaking and colorful pictures of the wildlife in their habitats. Includes an end note on each of the creatures who make an appearance...because it's never too early to get kids interested in their environment.
