In his work as a journalist, Tim Hall has written for various national newspapers and magazines. Most recently he spent two years in Bermuda, reporting for the Bermuda Sun. He has travelled widely in other parts of the world, including Asia and South America. He now lives in Gloucestershire with his wife and their daughter. He was born in Portishead, near Bristol, in 1977. His first novel, Shadow of the Wolf, is the beginning of a planned trilogy. Of the inspiration behind Shadow of the Wolf, Tim says: "Several years ago, I ventured into the Amazon Rainforest. It was in that awesome, primal place that I first began reimagining Sherwood, and picturing the elemental outlaw who haunted its depths. It gradually became clear to me that Robin Hood is the forest, indivisible from the savage earth. This thinking led the story down a particularly dark path, from where there was no looking back - "
