Step inside twelve magical mythological worlds. You might wantto take a map.But the maps in Myth Atlas are special: they show how twelve extraordinary cultures saw the world. For some it's a giant tree or an upside-down mountain. Others reckon we're living on the back of a giant turtle. All of them are fascinating. As you travel the world from Egypt to Japan, you'll meet an incredible array of gods, monsters, heroes and fantastical beasts. Just watch out for werewolves and banshees along theway . . . Myth Atlas is a magnificent gift book that will captivate children and adults alike.

Ana de Moraes (Author) Ana de Moraes grew up in Brazil, and now lives in London with her husband and picture book co-creator Thiago and their children. She has always been an incurable storyteller, working as a journalist and creator of television shows, and since having children is exploring ways to share those universal stories with a younger audience. Thiago de Moraes (Illustrator) Thiago De Moraes grew up obsessed with drawing and would doodle on anything - even his exam papers. He started illustrating professionally at the age of 16 for a Brazilian newspaper, and has won major awards for his illustration work in advertising. After university Thiago came to London with his wife and picture book co-creator Ana, and they still live there with their children.
