This adaptation of Terry Pratchett's comic novel tells the story of Johnny, who suddenly discovers on a visit to a local cemetery that he can "see" the dead, and talk to them too. But the cemetery is about to be sold off to developers - and what will happen to Johnny's new friends then? The accompanying activity section focuses on the major themes of the play, including the importance of the past in all our lives, and offers students the opportunity to learn more about the World War I background to the play, and stage their own debates on development and progress.
