This is a collection of photocopiable activities based on the programme of study for Earth and beyond at Key Stage 2 and covering the sun, earth, and the moon and the change in position of the sun during the day, shadows, how the earth spins on its axis, day and night, the orbit of the earth and the moon, the phases of the moon and the earth's atmosphere. Accompanying teachers' notes give background information and an explanation of each activity. Links with Scotland 5-14 and the Northern Ireland curriculum are also highlighted.
