TM GOING TO BE AN ANGEL shouted Dilly. Father spluttered, then he laughed so hard he had to leave the room. Mother laughed too and said it made a change from being a little Devil. But Dilly didn't think it was very funny! Dilly is disgusted when he is cast as an Angel in the nursery school Christmas play, but inevitably he manages to shine brightly! In the ninth hilarious collection of Dilly stories, he also goes to the funfair, prepares for burglars and does some mending.
