The "World of Recipes" series introduces food and recipes from different cultures and countries. It offers curriculum links with design and technology, literacy, geography, maths, science and PHSE/citizenship. Each book offers 17 simple, healthy recipes with an introduction, list of ingredients and suggested alternatives, special utensils, and step-by-step instructions. The preparation time and level of difficulty is indicated for each dish. Each title introduces the country and region and its food culture - eating and food habits and customs, and utensils; as well as covering safety, hygiene, quantities and measurements.
