When vandals attack Class Four's weather display, Scott solves the mystery and helps his class win the prize for the school's science competition. He also tracks down the class mice -- Wee, Willy and Winky -- could they be the criminals? Mei Lin and her extraordinary dog Polo discover the Diamond Gang at her parent's camp site. Overnight Mei Lin becomes Sun Beach's most famous Pet Detective because the diamonds are hidden in ae dog collar. Each story in the 'series' features a main child protagonist from a different ethnic background.
