All children like a scary story. This book, aimed at the very young, is garishly illustrated against a background of black. There are invitations to look at objects dancing in the dark until the light is switched on, revealing trick or treat, the Scary Party. Macabre--no. Fun--yes. (Age 3 and up) -- Susan Naylor
