A funny and engaging story - perfect for children starting to read alone. Daisy's late for school - again - when an encounter with a butterfly leaves her suddenly able to understand everything that animals say! When her friend Boom, a stray dog, is caught by the pound, Daisy enlists the help of a host of animal friends to set him free.

She graduated with both a BA and an MA in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art, and worked in publishing as a children's book designer before going freelance to pursue a career as an illustrator.
