Helene Hovanec is the author of several other books, including Word Search Puzzles for Young Einsteins. Gary Lacoste started his illustration career 15 years ago, working primarily in the toy and game industry. His clients included Hasbro, Nickelodeon and Lego. He recently shifted his focus to publishing and advertising, and is the current illustrator of Sterling's First Word Search series and numerous sticker books.
