This visually stunning, oversize paperback (with French flaps!) is a dog book ...until you flip it over to make it a cat book. The dog and cat meet in the middle, sharing a cosy rug. Steve Jenkins' cut - and torn-paper collages are exquisite, a fine match for the lively narrative that explores animal characteristics and behaviours as well as the role of cats and dogs in human history. A wonderful, accessible, beautiful way to learn about animal science, and nature from one of the nonfiction greats!
