Sarah Lemming is getting used to a new life in a new place with her mother and her mother's boyfriend. She's looking for new friends. The Brugan is not quite what she had in mind. He's ugly, smelly, and a vile shade of green. He comes crashing into her world when the door into his own is unexpectedly closed. Somehow, Sarah has got to get him home. It's not that the brugan means to be evil, it's just that his mischief is more dangerous, more powerful, and more deadly than anyone could have imagined . . .
