Millie likes to write lots of letters to all her friends from all around the world - and she loves it when they write back! Millie's friends are very different and live far away. She likes to learn about them and how they live each day...In a hugely multicultural society this book has superbly brought together characters from different cultures. It introduces children to the fact that people are different, but also that distinctive backgrounds provide the basis for fascinating friendships. This wonderfully illustrated and simple book is an important introduction for all children wishing to learn about the world.
