This very simple retelling of the nativity story includes lots of push and pull tabs for young children to play with as they read the Christmas story: see who's in the stable, find the angels behind the cloud, follow the twinkling star across the sky and discover who the wise men's gifts are for. Emily Bolam's bright, bold illustrations make perfect characters in this fun novelty book.

This was a wonderful book telling the nativity story simply. The pull-outs and pop-ups were irresistible to three year old fingers and we were entranced by the star and the angel making them appear and disappear many times. A good present for a toddler or preschooler for Christmas.A" The Good Book Stall, reviewed by Richard Rose (age 3) with the help of Annette Rose
