Homes featured include traditional `Western' farmhouses, bamboo and grass houses in Indonesia, mud houses in Togo, and houses on stilts in Bangladesh. Throughout the book, simple levelled text supports bright and engaging photographs, and the book also includes a picture glossary of difficult and important words, and notes for parents and teachers with advice on how to use the book.
