Clara Vulliamy trained at the Ruskin School and the Royal Academy. She is the daughter of author and illustrator Shirley Hughes, and has written numerous stories for children and babies. Clara lives in Twickenham with her husband and two children, who provide inspiration for her work. Shirley Hughes has illustrated more than 200 children's books.
