Rebecca Blue is a rebel with an attitude whose life is changed by a chance encounter with a soon-to-be dead girl. Rebel (as she's known) decides to follow the dead girl's bucket list as a way of making amends for not helping her when she was alive. In doing so, she's drawn into the path of people who actually care about causes and other people, shaking her sense of self and making her reevaluate her loner existence. Reminiscent of the blockbuster hit Thirteen Reasons Why, which examined the fallout from a teen's suicide; this also features Shelley's bright, engaging voice and unforgettable characters.
