Projekt Deutsch" is a five-year German language course for students aged 11-16. Written by practising German teachers and extensively trialled in schools, the course is accessible to a wide range of abilities, including lower attainers. It is ideally suited to students taking German as a first foreign language. The course is in four parts. Parts 1-3 cover Key Stage 3 and Part 4 covers both years of Key Stage 4. Part 1 provides a Students' Book in full colour, a Workbook for students to write in, a Teacher's Book, including detailed teaching notes interleaved with colour Students' Book pages, extension and assessment activities, concept keyboard overlays on repromaster, and a set of cassettes. The flashcard pack covers Key Stage 3 material.

It is aimed at Young Adult readers. The term Young Adult (YA) is used for books which have the following characteristics: (1) aimed at ages 12-18 years, US grades 7-12, UK school years 8-15, (2) around 50-75k words long, (3) main character is aged 12-18 years, (4) topics include self-reflection, internal conflict vs external, analyzing life and its meaning, (5) point of view is often in the first person, and (6) swearing, violence, romance and sexuality are allowed.
