Sue McMillan has worked in children's publishing for more than 20 years, first as an editor at Ladybird Books then as a senior editor at Templar Publishing. In 2007 Sue went freelance, establishing a successful business writing and editing for publishers both in the UK and overseas. Sue has worked regularly with Buster books, editing, proofreading and fact-checking their non-fiction titles. When she's not working, Sue loves reading (of course!) and taking long walks on the beach with her husband, son and dog. He is currently Director of Studies for Politics at Homerton College, and a Fellow in History at St Edmund's College. His most recent work focuses on Black Power as an ideology and a movement in Britain. Sarah Ward is an experienced A Level teacher and examiner and currently completing a DPhil in History at St. Catherine's College, University of Oxford. She is part of the Modern History Review editorial team.
