Terry Willis, born in Gibraltar to English parents, her father was a Headteacher and received an MBE for services to Education. Yet, she spent very little time in Gibraltar after the war and with may years of following in her father's footsteps, Terry retired as a Headteacher in 2012. As a Headteacher of four schools in Hertfordshire and OFSTED reports all judging her teaching and leadership as excellent, it isn't a surprise that Terry loved being a teacher. Throughout her teaching career she wrote plays and end of year productions, this along with her love of poetry and reading, Terry took to writing children's books once retired.
