How do the various forms of media work? How are they put together and how are they delivered to us, the consumers? This book looks at the movie industry and at the labour-intensive but fascinating process of making a feature film. It examines each stage in the production of a film, from initial idea through to the final cut and screening, and highlights the main activities that take place along the way. This book also looks at all the people involved in the making of a film, from the directors and actors to the gaffer, best boy and key grip.
