But every night, as darkness falls, she becomes afraid. Her mother encourages her to look at the soft glow of the moon and fireflies dancing in the night. Ella listens to the chirping of crickets and the gentle rustling of the wind as she gradually realizes that nighttime can be something to look forward to rather than something to fear. With sweet, luminous illustrations by Aime Sicuro, this story will inspire parents and children to welcome the peaceful nature of nighttime into their homes and hearts. Aimee Sicuro is an illustrator, picture book maker, and surface pattern designer living in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and young son. She graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration. Sandra V. Feder lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and three daughters. She loves playing with words. Two of her current favorites are sunshine and delicious. Susan feels very fortunate to work full-time as an illustrator, with 18 published titles, including Reaching with Kids Can Press. When she is not drawing or painting, she loves to sew and make soft toys that resemble her illustrations. She also loves to visit schools to talk about her illustration process and hopes that she inspires some children to become illustrators when they grow up.
