Alice has a lovely bedroom full of books and toys AND a new pair of truly wonderful red shoes. But she is shy and lonely, and doesn't know how to make friends. Then one morning Anatole the anteater arrives...and life is never the same again! Anatole's mischievous antics attract attention, winning Alice some new friends. But when Anatole gets a bit too carried away, Alice is angry. Then, disaster strikes and Anatole saves the day - and Alice finally realises how much she loves her loyal (if unusual) friend, in this quirky, whimsical and utterly delightful picture book.
