Sally Pomme Clayton is a pioneering storyteller and writer. As a storyteller she loves to bring fairytales, fragments of forgotten myths, folktales and epics to new life. She has published more than ten children's books, most recently The King with Dirty feet (Otter- Barry Books 2018). She studied Art and Design at Exeter College and Illustration at Kingston University. She worked as a sculptor on the Minas Tirith set of Peter Jackson's film trilogy The Lord of the Rings in New Zealand and designed merchandise for the films. She lives in Brighton, East Sussex. Her books for Frances Lincoln are Antonia Barber's retelling of The Frog Bride and Sally Pomme Clayton's Persephone .
