True friends will always forgive - even when you accidentally hit them on the head! When Figgy's boisterous brothers start playing with her friend Jefferson Bear's favourite tickling stick, Figgy tells them to stop. But they don't and Figgy finds herself drawn into their game - until she accidentally hits JB on the head. The brothers run off and hide the stick, but Figgy is too embarrassed to tell JB what has happened. Her nose goes all pink and her tail goes all twitchy, and she sets off to find where the stick is hidden. Only when she has found it, after a long, incident-filled search, does she own up. JB forgives her everything, and the two friends celebrate with a midnight feast. This very funny story is perfectly pitched for a young audience, who will readily identify with Figgy's predicament. The cast of animal characters, including Buncle the Badger and Hoptail the Squirrel, as well as Figgy and JB themselves, will delight all readers, young and old.
