Drawing on years of teaching experience and research, the author answers 60 letters on a range of topics relating to astronomy and theoology, from children between the ages of 5 and 15. They ask, for instance, what the sun is made of, whether the moon comes out during the day, whether we would go back in time if the Earth's rotation reversed, why God doesn't fall out of the sky, how many space aliens there are and where they live, and whether animals go to Heaven.

Russell Stannard vividly remembers the excitement of discovering Einstein's theories for the first time. Inspired to pass the message on to children, he created his 'Uncle Albert' character, whose adventures are now bestsellers throughout the world. Formerly Professor of Physics at the Open University and Vice President of the Institute of Physics, Russell was recently awarded an OBE for services to physics and the popularisation of science.
