An original, funny and touching goldfish love story, exquisitely illustrated by fine artist, Rosy Lamb. A celebration of imagination and of love, this is the exquisitely illustrated story of a little goldfish called Paul. Each and every day, Paul circles his goldfish bowl - making big circles, making little circles; swimming left to right, swimming right to left... What else is there to do? Until, one day, Bernadette drops in and shows Paul that there is a whole world out there, right outside his bowl - and there are so many things to look at! Lovestruck Paul's way of seeing, and being, will never be the same again. Filled with visual humour, little children will enjoy the surprising, witty and charming descriptions Bernadette gives to everyday objects.

A beautifully funny and charming tale ... a very clever picture book which both adults and children will enjoy. * The Bookseller *

This gently humorous (goldfish style romance) book demonstrates how life changes when that special one comes along to expand your vision, altering the way you see things. Rosy Lamb illustrates her goldfish romance with thick brushstrokes and daubs, dropping the goldfish bowl, bubble-like, to take centre stage on the spread, or seemingly floating among the other everyday items. * Red Reading Hub *
