This is a handbook for teachers which gives advice on identifying the causes of poor handwriting, along with mechanisms for improving it. There are photocopiable sheets for the use of older pupils to allow them to identify, understand and correct personal handwriting, emphasizing the importance of legibility, speed and individual style. There are also graded, photocopiable exercises to provide practice for selected letter shapes and joins. The material is for use at Key Stage 2, and also for use by Special Needs Co-ordinators in Secondary Schools.
