Ron and Valerie Taylor are Australians whose underwater photography for Hollywood films such as Jaws has won them international acclaim. They have dedicated their lives to conservation and shark protection. Stephen Savage is a biologist, natural history author, lecturer and associate member of the Institute of Biology. He worked at the Brighton Sealife Centre as Senior Aquarist, for seven years, and as Education Officer, for six years. He is currently Education Coordinator for the River Ocean Foundation, developing educational materials and working with children, adults and in teacher training. He is also involved in a local study of sea mammals, which is part of a larger monitoring programme run by the Sea Watch Foundation, and assists in the marine mammal rescue programme. Stephen has written more than 37 natural history books for children, and he contributes to various magazines and local newspapers.
