Rhonde Montijo received his BFA in illustration from california College of Arts and Crafts in 1995. While one of his passions lies in creating comic books, Cloud Boy, his first picture book , markedthe fulfillment of a longtime dream of his -- to create children's books. Rhode lives in Oakland, California. Luke Reynolds taught in public schools for many years before becoming an assistant professor of education at Endicott College. His is the author of Fantastic Failures, Surviving Middle School, The Looney Experiment, and the picture books If My Love Were a Fire Truck and Bedtime Blastoff! He and his wife, Jennifer, have three sons.
