In "Never Say Boo!" by Robin Pulver, a group of playful children in a classroom is faced with the challenge of confronting their fears. As Halloween approaches, they encounter a spooky ghost who appears just as they are preparing for their festivities. The children, each grappling with their own fears, learn valuable lessons about courage and friendship. With rhythm and humor, Pulver crafts a story that encourages young readers to face their anxieties while embracing the fun of the holiday. The lively illustrations complement the text, making it an engaging read for children navigating the thrills of Halloween. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].

DEB LUCKE is a writer and illustrator of children's books with an interest in bad behavior and horribly embarrassing incidents. Since her own childhood had plenty of both she is never short of material. Prior to getting involved in children's books Deb worked with a lot of talented people in advertising from whom she learned how to trap and snare an idea. She also studied filmmaking which influenced the way she visually tells her stories. She finds camaraderie in a group of children's book illustrators that meets in the Hudson Valley and a group of writers that meets in New York. Deb lives and works in Cold Spring with her partner, Paul Hartzell, a writer. Both are occasionally badly behaved. Robin Pulver is the author over twenty picture books, including Punctuation Takes a Vacation , Nouns and Verbs Have a Field Day , and Silent Letters Loud and Clear . She lives in New York State.
